Dr. Neli Ragina serves as the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate and Graduate Medical Education (UME & GME) Research and is an Associate Professor of Genetics at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. They hold two Master of Science degrees in Molecular Biology and Clinical and Biomedical Investigations, as well as a Ph.D. in Genetics. With over a decade of experience in academic research leadership, Neli focuses on population health and medical education research, particularly in maternal and child health and vaccine hesitancy. Neli has received multiple accolades for research contributions, including the 2023 Excellence in Research Award. Currently, they are a FAIMER Fellow, dedicated to advancing academic medicine and mentoring emerging scholars.
