The housing sector is facing huge challenges, particularly an ageing asset base which needs major investment to be sustainable over the long-term. This is in respect of the cost to maintain and use, environmental impacts, build quality, safety, the design and aesthetic of the home and the desirability of the wider place.

Against that backdrop, we must do all we can to provide more new affordable homes.

These challenges give rise to a number of questions:
- How can we improve the number and quality of affordable homes?
- Which homes should we keep and improve?
- Which homes should be sold or re-developed over time?
- How can we best maximise capacity for investment in new, better quality social housing?

Integ helps housing associations develop a clear and effective response to these questions:

- Strategy Development and Advice
To help housing associations develop a clear and effective approach to maximising the long term social and financial value of their asset base.

- Asset Performance Evaluation
In particular developing a balanced financial and non-financial performance assessment. This workstream can involve data audits and peer reviews as well as providing advice and support in developing bespoke in-house models.

- Transaction Advice and Support
For single and portfolio level assets. This can include supporting internal business cases and building financial models to support decision-making, as well as wider transactional support, for example advising and costing ongoing management arrangements.
