Carol Nichols

Carol Nichols has been working in the tech industry since 2004. Carol began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, where they conducted research in Natural Language Processing and Machine Translation. In 2006, they moved to Vivisimo, Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined Careerimp, Inc. as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked on Resunate.com, a resume building app. In 2012, they were a Junior Steve Klabnik, and then joined Think Through Learning Inc. as a Software Architect. Since 2016, they have been working as a Developer/Owner/Founder at Integer 32, LLC, helping companies evaluate Rust by building prototypes and providing training and pairing.

Carol Nichols attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science.
