David John

David John has over 10 years of work experience in the IT industry. In 2007, they started as a Village Orderly at Aberdeenshire Council. In 2011, they moved on to become a Software Engineer and Systems Administrator at Scotweb, where they worked with Twisted Python, FileMaker, AppleScript, and Perl. In 2013, they became a Freelance Software Engineer, where they developed webshops using Python's Django and maintained Linux virtual private servers. In 2014, they became an IT Contractor and worked as a Linux System Administrator. In 2015, they began working as an IT Contractor through Upwork, where they achieved Top Rated status with a 100% Job Success score. In 2016, they worked as a DevOps Engineer for Toptal and as an IT Contractor. In 2017, they worked as a DevOps Engineer for Integrated Digital Solutions, Inc. and as an AWS Code Deploy Expert for MindTrust Labs.

David John attended Heriot-Watt University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a BSc in Computer Science. In 2012, they obtained an Intermediate Fluency certification in Spanish from Duolingo.
