Debra Ware

Debbie brings 40 years of Government experience, 34 years spent in the Internal Revenue Service. Her IRS experience spanned multiple lines of business and multiple IT disciplines, with an emphasis on IT Program Management and Business/IT alignment, in the most significant and complex Modernization Efforts. She was a Government Leader and Subject Matter Expert in the full breadth of Program and Project management disciplines including Strategic Planning, Program Release Management, Requirements Engineering, Risk Management, Program Acquisitions, Program and Technical Integration and Project Portfolio Management. She manages Integrated System’s Portfolio of contracts at the Internal Revenue Service which include the implementation of Innovative Technologies, PMO Support, Requirements Engineering and Software Development. She also ran IT Portfolio Management and Testing and Change Management at the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Debbie has a BA in Community Health and Sociology. She is a Certified Project Management Professional since 2008, holds Master’s Certificates in IT Project Management and Government Financial Management, is a certified Business Rules Analyst and Scrum Master. In 2020 she received recognition from the AIM Council at the FitGov Summit as an Outstanding Industry Partner acknowledging her commitment to serving the government with excellence.
