IUS undertakes high voltage design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of public and private utility networks throughout the UK. 

We operate in the health, education, defence, water, chemical, food, transportation, industrial, commercial and multi utility sectors, providing services from low voltage up to 132kV. As an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), IUS carry out contestable connections, offering turnkey solutions. 

As well as providing a substation inspection service, IUS has an extensive SAP resource to operate and manage your electrical networks, which enables us to maintain high voltage apparatus and provide other services including non-intrusive surveys, power factor correction work and harmonic filtration. 

IUS has Lloyds Register accreditations to ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Safety Management).
