Jayson Saumer

Jayson Saumer has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2002 as a Systems Administrator/Lab Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Jayson then worked as an Independent Web Developer at Oppna Web Solutions from 2004 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2011, Saumer served as the Manager of Information Systems at Northlands NewsCenter, where they ran 5 digital channels, produced 12 newscasts and commercials daily, and educated staff members on technology use.

Starting in 2011, Saumer worked as a Security Administrator in Information Services at Essentia Health, maintaining a large and robust Active Directory environment, auditing access risk/security, and building user accounts.

From 2013 to 2015, Saumer took on the role of Manager of Information Systems at KBJR TV, responsible for running a multi-channel broadcast station, producing newscasts and local shows, and deploying new technologies.

Since 2015, Saumer has been working as a Cloud Services Administrator at Integris.

Jayson Saumer attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior from 2002 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
