Cecilia Wikström

Cecilia Wikström is the CEO of Beijerstiftelsen and serves as Chair of both the European Institute of Public Administration and the Alva Myrdal Centre at Uppsala University. With a background as a practising priest in the Swedish Church since 1994, Cecilia has also authored several books, including the award-winning "När livet går sönder." Cecilia was elected to the Swedish Parliament in 2002, re-elected in 2006, and later served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2019, where notable roles included Chair of the Petitions Committee. Currently, Cecilia is active on the boards of multiple organizations, including Integrum AB and Elekta.
