Ferran Pichel

Ferran Pichel is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in threat intelligence and security analysis. Currently serving as a Cyber-Threat Researcher at Intel 471 since September 2017, Ferran specializes in collecting intelligence from closed sources involving cyber threat actors. Prior roles include Co-Founder of Iniciativabiotec, S.L. and Cyber-Threat Analyst at Blueliv, where responsibilities encompassed malware analysis, source-code security review, and the development of scripts. Earlier experience includes I.T. Security Analyst positions at Applus and Internet Security Auditors, along with Co-Founder and Security Analyst roles at Section9 Security, focusing on e-crime and IT security services. Ferran holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technologies from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Certified Ethical Hacker credential. Additionally, Ferran contributed to the @RROBA Magazine in the field of technical and scientific publications.
