Serena Chen

Serena Chen has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting.

Serena is currently the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Intel 471 since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Member at Chief, a private network dedicated to empowering women in leadership positions, from January 2022 to February 2024.

Before their current roles, Serena worked at Four Winds Interactive. Serena held multiple positions, including VP of FP&A from June 2021 to February 2022. Serena also served as Vice President of Accounting from January 2021 to June 2021 and Senior Director of Accounting from January 2020 to January 2021. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting from June 2018 to January 2020.

Additionally, Serena has experience as a Manager at Floyd Advisory from March 2016 to January 2018. Serena provided consultation on accounting matters and assisted with SEC investigations. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Tax Analyst at TD from March 2014 to March 2016, where they led cross-functional work and ensured accurate tax filings.

Serena began their career as a Senior Tax Associate at PwC from March 2011 to March 2014. Serena started at the NYC Department of Finance as an NYC Tax Auditor in May 2010 and stayed until March 2011.

Serena Chen earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Lehigh University, completing their studies between 2005 and 2009. In 2011, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from NYS. Additionally, in 2018, Serena obtained their Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
