Alex Vals

Alex Vals is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in software product management and technical leadership spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Software Technical Product Management at Intel Corporation since January 2016, Alex Vals oversees FPGA/EDA tools, AI/ML, and embedded acceleration initiatives while also heading Software Product Strategy in the Programmable Solutions Group. Previously, Alex Vals worked at Altera, managing a team and influencing executive management on product development strategies from December 2012 to January 2016. Prior to that, Alex Vals owned Rakeeya Technologies, providing consulting and product management services. Roles at Mentor Graphics saw Alex Vals director outreach in product line management and user experience enhancement. Additionally, experience as a Senior Technical Account Manager at Synplicity and as an ASIC Design Engineer at National Semiconductor further solidified Alex Vals’ expertise in the field. Alex Vals holds degrees from Tel Aviv University and the Tech College of Tel-Aviv University.
