Amir Ghetmiri is a Senior Photonic Integration Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they lead the development of high-volume photonic devices and contribute to process innovation in the field of semiconductor photonics. Previously, Amir worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, directing research on GeSn/SiGeSn lasers and integrated photonics, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, where they achieved the first worldwide demonstration of direct-bandgap GeSn semiconductor material.
