Ashwin Rao

Ashwin Rao is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hardware design and management across several prominent technology companies. Ashwin began as an intern at LSI, contributing to the development of a Custom RAID controller ASIC, before taking on roles at Palmchip and Texas Instruments, where responsibilities included designing configurable memory controllers and leading various subsystems for OMAP SoCs. Ashwin managed an engineering team at Intel, developing IP for mobile platforms and later led a team focused on LTE Modem IP development. Ashwin holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategy from The University of Texas at Dallas, a Master’s in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Andhra University.
