Ashwin Vijayakumar

Ashwin Vijayakumar is an accomplished product and business lead at Intel Corporation, with experience in building new software and services divisions within hardware-centric organizations since June 2021. Previously, Ashwin served as a product manager at Intel Movidius, delivering multiple generations of AI accelerator cards and innovating software release mechanisms. Earlier roles include leading customer support at Intel Corporation, where Ashwin managed a team of applications engineers, and holding senior engineering responsibilities at Qualcomm Innovation Center, where Ashwin played a key role in establishing a new robotics product division. Ashwin's technical journey began with an embedded software engineer position at Delphi, followed by a graduate research assistant role at Western Michigan University, and the founding of Afflatus Techtronics, a consulting firm focused on rapid prototyping and engineering education. Ashwin holds a master's degree in Advanced Computer Architecture and Digital Design from Western Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
