Carla Plummer

Carla Plummer, CISSP, has an extensive background in information technology and security, with roles spanning various organizations since 2008. Beginning as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Tampa Electric and later at TEAMWORKnet, Carla transitioned to the University of South Florida, contributing as a Technology Analyst and subsequently as a Tier 2 Remote Support Helpdesk Technician. Carla later served as an Information Technology Business Analyst and ERP Business Analyst at the University of South Florida. Most recently, Carla held several positions at Amgen, focusing on Information Security Engineering, before joining Intel Corporation as an Information Security Engineer. In addition to industry roles, Carla contributes to academia as an Adjunct Professor at St. Petersburg College and leads the Cybersecurity Curriculum at Black Girls In Cyber. Carla completed education at the University of South Florida between 2015 and 2017.
