Carlos Cordeiro

Carlos Cordeiro is a prominent figure in the fields of wireless communications and standards development, currently serving as a Board Member at Bluetooth SIG and a Member of the Technological Advisory Council at the Federal Communications Commission. Cordeiro has a long-standing association with IEEE, holding multiple distinguished titles including Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Communications Standards Magazine and IEEE Fellow. With experience extending to significant roles at Intel Corporation as an Intel Fellow and CTO of Wireless Communications, Cordeiro has also contributed to the Wi-Fi Alliance as a Board Member and Board Chair. Cordeiro's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and both a BS and MS in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco.
