Carsten Mathiasen

Carsten Mathiasen is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in hardware-related software development and verification. Carsten began a career at 7 Technologies, developing communication protocols for industrial systems, followed by roles at Dansk Informations Teknologi A/S, where a multi-user dispatch system was developed. Carsten continued to enhance expertise at Olicom A/S, focusing on device drivers for networking hardware. Carsten then served as an ASIC verification engineer at MIPS Technologies before joining Tpack A/S, where responsibilities included functional testing of telecommunication chips. Following the acquisition of Tpack by AppliedMicro, Carsten worked as a senior software engineer at Altera and later Intel Corporation, conducting hardware-based functional verification of complex chips, including for cloud services. Skills include proficiency in various programming languages and communication technologies such as PCIe and 400G Ethernet. Education includes a Dataingeniør, Software degree from Aarhus Teknikum and a Matematisk/fysisk student degree from Grenaa Gymnasium.
