Cesar Bartolo is a Senior Photonics Design Engineer at Intel, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Davis. With a strong passion for integrating photonics and electronics, they focus on developing advanced photodetectors and photonics integrated biosensors. Cesar holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from INAOE and a Bachelor of Technology from UNAM, both in Mexico. Their research includes high-speed photodiodes, with applications in optical communications, LIDAR, and medical imaging, while also collaborating with experts across various scientific fields. Previously, Cesar served as a teaching assistant and graduate student research assistant at UC Davis, contributing significantly to innovative device development.
