Christopher Cantalupo is a Software Architect at Intel Corporation, specializing in high performance computing (HPC) with sixteen years of experience in software design and implementation. Currently leading the GEOPM project, an extensible power management framework for HPC environments, Christopher has also worked on significant projects such as the memkind library and micperf package. Earlier in their career, they served as a Research Assistant and Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University, developing software for the Viper telescope, and later contributed to advanced computational systems at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University.
