Darren Crews

Darren Crews is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor and communications industries, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation since August 2003, focusing on NPU architecture. Prior roles include Principal Engineer positions in NPU and System Architecture for wearable and mobile devices, where Darren led system design and architectural definition for various technologies. Earlier experience includes technical leadership in the Mobile Communications Group, developing energy management architectures, and managing new business initiatives in optical interconnects at Intel. Darren's career began at Stratos Lightwave/Paracer as a Design Engineer, leading a key product development, and included a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Agilent Technologies. Educational qualifications include dual master's degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
