Dave Cavalcanti

Dave Cavalcanti is a Principal Engineer at Intel, where they are currently involved in research and development focused on connectivity and networking standards, including Wi-Fi and Time-Sensitive Networking. With a strong background in R&D and project management, Dave has led various industry partnerships and innovative research programs that advance wireless connectivity and distributed systems. They have contributed to multiple generations of Wi-Fi standards and currently serve as President of Avnu Alliance, fostering collaboration across the industry. Dave previously held roles at Philips Research, where they focused on wireless solutions for healthcare and smart city applications, and they have an educational background that includes a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
