Dave Smith

Dave Smith is an Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation, where they have been since 2014, overseeing RTL and Verification engineers in the development of hardware accelerators for the Network Platforms Group. Prior to this role, they worked as a Component Design Engineer at Intel from 1996 to 2014, contributing to multiple high-profile projects including the Intel Xeon Processor series and various I/O processors. Dave began their career as a Co-Op Engineer at IBM in 1994, focusing on design verification of the PowerPC microprocessors. They earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 1990 to 1995.
