David Gold

David Gold is the Silicon Photonic Device Test Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation, where they oversee the test engineering team focused on silicon-based photonic devices. Previously, David worked at Infinera as a Senior Test Development Engineer and Lockheed Martin as a Senior Electro-Optics Engineer, leading projects in R&D and production testing. David holds a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the University of California, Davis. Their extensive experience includes roles at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Finisar Corporation, focusing on advanced optical technologies and testing methodologies.
