Dean Throop

Dean Throop has extensive experience in technology and engineering, with a strong focus on virtual reality and cloud solutions. As True VR Engineering Services Manager at Intel Corporation from November 2016 to August 2018, Dean led a team to design and operate live streaming capabilities for significant events such as the NCAA March Madness and the Winter Olympics. Currently serving as Cloud Solutions Engineer at Intel Corporation since July 2020, responsibilities include developing hybrid cloud solutions in AI and Machine Learning. Prior experience spans various roles in technical support, project management, and IT management, demonstrating a robust background in both leadership and technical excellence. Dean holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho and previously studied Mechanical Engineering.
