Deepak Rao

Deepak Rao is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation, where experience spans from August 2005 to the present, holding various roles including Principal Engineer and Global Supply Chain Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include specialty gas and precursor strategic sourcing, technical sustaining, and quality assurance across Intel's global factory network, as well as leading the transistor and interconnect plasma etch technology development group. Prior to Intel, Deepak Rao contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles from June 2001 to June 2005 and started a career as a Systems Engineer at Wipro Technologies from 1998 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
