Farzad Esfandiari is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as Director of Software Engineering in the Mobile Communications Group at Intel Corporation since September 2011. Previously, Farzad held the position of Entrepreneur In Residence at Plug and Play Tech Center from May 2010 to September 2011, and worked for Motorola Mobility Inc. for over 15 years in various roles including Senior Director of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, and Engineering Manager. Farzad holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
