Georg Land

Georg Land has extensive experience in the field of cryptography and IT security, currently serving as a Research Scientist at Intel Corporation since April 2025, following a role as a PQC Research Scientist at SandboxAQ in late 2024. Prior to these positions, Georg worked as a Scientific Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) from December 2020 to October 2022 and as a PhD Candidate at Ruhr University Bochum, focusing on the implementation aspects of lattice- and code-based cryptography across various platforms. Earlier roles included Engineering at Kasper & Oswald GmbH and a Working Student position involving the development of NFC technologies. Georg holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in IT Security from Ruhr University Bochum, completed in 2019 and 2016, respectively.
