Hubert Hsieh is a retired engineer with over 30 years of experience in CPU chip development, specializing in datapath design methodologies and full chip integration. They held the position of Senior Staff Component Design Engineer at Intel from 1995 until retirement, where they focused on speed debug. Prior to that, Hsieh worked as a Custom Circuit Designer at SMOS Systems and ESS Technology, designing custom multipliers, register files, and SRAMs. Hsieh earned a BEng in Microprocessor Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and a MSEE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University.
