Izabela Samek

Izabela Samek is a PTD Lithography Engineer at Intel Corporation, where they utilize their expertise in chemical engineering. They previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University, focusing on designing novel mixed metal oxide catalysts, and held an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at UC San Diego, where they developed electrochemical sensors. Izabela contributed to the academic community as the Student Paper Competition Chair at the 2013 AIChE Western Regional Conference and played a vital role in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers as both Industry Chair and Industry Committee Member. They earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego.
