Joaquin Romera

Joaquin Romera currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at Intel Corporation, following a tenure as Senior Director of Discrete Graphics Engineering within Intel Graphics from February 2022 to the present. Prior to joining Intel, Joaquin held roles at Apple from January 2019 to February 2022 and at Qualcomm from June 2014 to December 2018, where responsibilities included managing and engineering wireless modem technologies. Joaquin began their career at Intel in August 2008 and progressed through various engineering positions, ultimately serving as Senior Staff Design Engineer for the Ultra Mobility Group, focusing on high-end smartphone SOCs. Joaquin holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wright State University.
