John Pereira has extensive experience in IT and data center management, currently serving as Sr. Director of IT Facilities & Enterprise Hosting at Intel Corporation since December 2003. Notable achievements include leading operations for Intel's data center strategy, ensuring reliability surpassing industry benchmarks, and overseeing the construction of two new data centers to enhance chip-design capabilities. Pereira has also been responsible for worldwide hosting services and has played a key role in establishing the Intel Security Platform organization. Earlier roles include managing the Intel Inside® Program redesign and coordinating global sales business solutions. Pereira's career started at National Semiconductor as an Application Developer. Pereira holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Santa Clara University.
