Kekai Hu is a Principal Security Researcher at Intel, where they focus on critical security challenges such as Meltdown and Spectre. Previously, Kekai served as a Senior Security Researcher at Intel, addressing security architecture evaluation and platform security assurance. They hold a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wuhan University. Kekai has also gained experience as an Intern Engineer at Broadcom, where they developed a service-oriented packet DMA system. Acknowledged for their contributions to security, they discovered the L1TF side channel vulnerabilities, CVE-2018-3620 and CVE-2018-3646.
