Rakesh Pillai

Rakesh Pillai is a seasoned professional in the field of information security, currently serving as Director of Global Governance, Risk and Compliance & Application Security at Intel Corporation since August 2016. With previous leadership roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and McAfee, Rakesh has extensive experience managing cyber security operations across the Asia Pacific, Japan, and India regions. Rakesh's career began in the Indian Army as a Major, followed by significant positions in security management at Canara Bank and Wipro Technologies. Academically, Rakesh holds an Advanced Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, along with various certifications including CISA and CEH.
