Rath Vannithamby

Rath Vannithamby, PhD, IEEE Fellow, is a Senior Wireless Systems Leader specializing in 5G, 6G, Wi-Fi, and IoT, with 25 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as Director of Wireless Systems Research at Intel Labs, they lead strategic research and manage a team of senior researchers, contributing significantly to wireless system advancements with over 300 patents. Rath has published extensively, including 75+ publications and three books on 5G and 6G, and is the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE IoT Magazine, where they notably increased submissions and revenue.
