Raul Velasco

Raul Velasco, PhD, is a Data Scientist at Intel Corporation with a robust background in chemical and petroleum engineering. They previously held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Lecturer at the Energy & Geoscience Institute, where they investigated nanoscale flow effects and taught graduate courses. Raul also served as a Reservoir Engineering Intern at Schlumberger, where they contributed to simulation studies and proposed efficient workflows for hydraulic fracturing. They earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Kansas.
