Shu-Hsien Chu has extensive experience in software engineering, image processing, and academic roles. An internship at Seagate Technology involved developing real-time algorithms for defect detection in hard drive production. Roles at National Cheng Kung University included research coordination on green communication issues, as well as teaching responsibilities in various mathematical and programming subjects. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, Shu-Hsien Chu contributed to projects utilizing advanced imaging and machine learning techniques to analyze brain changes in major depressive disorder. More recently, as an EDA Tool Software Engineer at Intel Corporation, Shu-Hsien Chu focused on developing machine learning methods for design validation and CAD software enhancements. Currently, Shu-Hsien Chu serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at National Cheng Kung University and has a background in logistics management from service in the Republic of China Army.
