Sundar Vedantham

Sundar Vedantham is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, since August 2022, where responsibilities include conducting classes and consultancy sessions. With extensive experience at Intel Corporation since 2007 as Director of Software Development and Senior Technical Manager, Sundar Vedantham has focused on optimizing multi-core data plane processing software for mobile networks and system-level software for network traffic monitoring. Previously, during tenure at LSI, an Avago Technologies Company from 2001 to 2007 as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, Sundar Vedantham led a large multinational team in the development of a Small and Medium Business Gateway product line. Earlier career experiences include serving as Technology Systems Manager at Louisiana State University from 1993 to 2000, managing a network for educational services. Sundar Vedantham holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from Louisiana State University.
