Sungkwan Ku

Sungkwan Ku has extensive experience in CPU design, having worked as a CPU Front End Design Engineer intern at Samsung Austin R&D Center, where analysis of CPU micro-architecture and modifications to RTL design for improved energy efficiency were key responsibilities. Prior to this, Sungkwan served as an IP Logic Design Engineer for Image Signal Processors at Samsung, focusing on RTL design and FPGA prototyping for verification. Currently, Sungkwan is involved in IP logic design for server CPUs at Intel Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Master’s Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Hanyang University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
