Tyler Schmidt

Tyler Schmidt has over 17 years of experience at Intel Corporation, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Strategic Business Development since February 2013, where responsibilities include growing the business with the Federal Government. Previously, Tyler held various roles such as Director of Federal Silicon Solutions, Operations Manager, and Business Development Manager, focusing on expanding federal market relationships and developing new business initiatives. Earlier experience at Intel featured positions such as Engineering Manager for Chemical Vapor Deposition and Group Leader for Back End Endura, managing key safety and quality metrics. Prior to Intel, Tyler worked as a Graduate Student at the Nanoscale Bioengineering Laboratory, specializing in the development of colloidal nanoparticles for drug delivery applications. Tyler holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology.
