Volker Mauer

Volker Mauer is a Principal Engineer at Altera, where they apply their extensive expertise in FPGA and DSP technologies. Previously, Mauer worked as a Principal Engineer and FPGA Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2015 to 2023, and held various roles at Altera, including Manager of the Wireless System Solutions Group. Mauer began their career at GEC Plessey Semiconductors and Siemens Semiconductors, focusing on ASIC design. They earned a Dipl.-Ing.(FH) in Digital Electronics from Hochschule Furtwangen and a Master’s degree in VLSI Design from Bournemouth University.
