Stian Nygaard

Stian Nygaard is an experienced investment director currently leading Yara Growth Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Yara International ASA, focusing on investments at the intersection of science and technology in the hydrogen/ammonia and agri-tech sectors. Nygaard serves on the investment board of AZANE Fuel Solutions, a company developing ammonia bunkering solutions, and holds positions as deputy board member and board observer at Intelecy, as well as board observer at Hydrogen Mem-Tech AS. Previous roles include board membership at Norsk institutt for vannforskning and positions in corporate affairs and funding at Yara International. Nygaard has a robust background in research and business development from SINTEF, alongside multiple leadership roles across various related initiatives. Academic achievements include an Executive MBA in Financial Management and Leadership from the Norwegian School of Economics and a PhD in Innovation Management from Lund University, complemented by various international business programs.
