Rolando Perez

Rolando Perez has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT. Rolando started their career in 2005 as a Systems Engineer and Instructor at Universidad de Pinar del Rio, where they provided helpdesk support, managed network infrastructure, and installed and managed Linux servers. Rolando then moved on to become an IT Director and Assistant Professor at the same university, where they taught computer networks courses and played a key role in planning and designing the university's LAN expansion.

In 2014, Rolando joined E-Networking Solutions Group, LLC as an IT Support Engineer, where they provided technical assistance to clients. Rolando then worked at Roundtrip Networks Corp. as a Systems Engineer, where they collaborated with user groups to solve business problems using available technology and acquired skills in UNIX/Linux systems administration, cloud services management, and configuration management.

Currently, Rolando is working at IntelePeer as a Director of DevOps, a position they assumed in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager DevOps & Infrastructure. During their time at IntelePeer, they have been responsible for assessing systems, providing solutions to issues, upgrading and maintaining systems, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Rolando has also gained expertise in Linux systems administration, cloud services management, infrastructure automation, and server and application monitoring.
