Eduardo Henriques has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Eduardo currently works as a System Software Developer at INTELIE by Viasat since September 2020. Prior to that, they spent six years at Tecgraf/PUC-Rio as a Senior Java Developer, where they worked directly with a client, Petrobrás, and developed a search and indexing platform using Java and Apache Lucene/SOLR framework. Eduardo also created high-performance services and microservices for other applications, using TDD, design patterns, and clean code practices.

Eduardo also worked as a Frontend Developer at ZEHNK Technology from September 2015 to December 2017. In this role, they developed the web interface for a SaaS application using JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 2, CSS3, and HTML5. Eduardo collaborated with Marketing and UX/Design teams to gather requirements and design the layout using agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum.

Before that, Eduardo worked as an Analyst Java Systems at Montreal Informática from February 2012 to July 2014. In this position, they worked directly with Petrobrás as a technical focal point, resolving technical issues and managing tasks in Jira. Eduardo also handled the deployment processes in development and production environments for new versions.

Eduardo began their career at Infoglobo, where they worked from January 2007 to January 2012. Initially, they worked as an intern, maintaining tools and fixing bugs in legacy systems. Later, they became an Analyst Systems and worked on projects related to the administration systems for Globo Online and Extra Online websites. Eduardo utilized agile methodologies, OOP, design patterns, and performed unit and performance testing using the JUnit framework.

Overall, Eduardo has gained extensive experience in systems development, Java programming, web development, and agile methodologies throughout their various roles in different companies.

Eduardo Henriques earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Universidade Federal Fluminense. Eduardo attended this institution from 2004 to 2011. In 2017, Eduardo pursued further education in the field of Computer Software Engineering and obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. Eduardo completed this program in 2018.
