Michael Michelis

Michael Michelis has a diverse work experience, having worked in various roles in different companies since 2009. In 2009, they founded mathcom.gr, a website that managed to reach 1500 registered members. Michael was the forum administrator, blogger, and community manager. In 2014, they worked as a Marketing Intern for AIESEC ReBranders, where they developed a website using Wordpress. Michael also worked as an Application Support Assistant for Posterscope, where they wrote scripts in SQL for reporting, and learned about OOH advertising. In 2015, they worked as a Big Data Engineer/Scrum Master at Dentsu Aegis Network, where they designed intelligent solutions for clients and administered databases. In 2016, they founded app-reign.com. In 2017, they co-founded Intelistyle (Techstars '18) as COO, and also founded Skillout, an online platform for the best teachers and instructors of recreational activities.

Michael Michelis earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Ioannina in 2014. Since then, they have taken various courses through Coursera, Edx, and Lynda.com. Michael has also obtained certifications from Coursera, Lynda.com, and Pluralsight, including "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" (Coursera, 2017), "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" (Coursera, 2017), "Agile Product Owner Role" (Lynda.com, 2017), "Amazon Web Services (AWS) Fundamentals for System Administrators" (Pluralsight), "Amazon Web Services Databases in Depth" (Pluralsight), "Python Fundamentals" (Pluralsight), and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" (Coursera).
