Lance Jones

Lance Jones has an extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Lance began their career in 2003 as an Automation Support Officer in the US Army, where they were responsible for developing policies and procedures for communication and COMSEC programs. Lance also conducted staff visits and command inspections.

In 2007, Lance became an Information Management Officer in the US Army, where they supervised policy and regulation compliance and ensured security measures were met for LAN and WAN networks. Lance also managed over 350 clients.

In 2010, Lance joined CACI International Inc as a Network System Administrator, providing customer service support, conducting vulnerability scans, and troubleshooting network and security issues. Lance also achieved Authority to Operate (ATO) status.

In 2012, Lance took on the role of Information Assurance Manager at CACI International Inc, overseeing IA programs and collaborating with government personnel on planning and resolving IA issues.

In 2014, Lance briefly worked as an IT Operations Support Analyst at Artech Information Systems before joining IntellecTechs as a Network Operations professional. Lance was responsible for monitoring and responding to infrastructure and network alerts and events, as well as directing remote activities for infrastructure repairs.

Lance Jones has a diverse education history. From 2012 to 2014, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they focused on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1983, Lance studied Business Administration/Small Business Management at West Virginia Northern Community College. Additionally, Lance obtained certifications in A+ from CompTIA in March 2010 and Security + CE from the same institution in October 2020.
