Sérgio Soares

Sérgio Soares has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sérgio currently works as a Business Analyst at IntellectEU since January 2022. Previously, they worked at NOVO BANCO for six years from December 2015 to December 2021, serving as a Gerente. Before that, they held the same position at BES - NOVO BANCO from April 2014 to November 2015. Sérgio's career started at BES in August 2010, where they worked as a Gestor de Negócios, responsible for managing a portfolio of private and corporate clients, risk analysis, and supporting front desk and treasury operations. Sérgio also had brief stints as an Assistant Salesperson at CGD in July 2010, and as an Economist at CLDS from September 2009 to June 2010. Sérgio gained early work experience through various part-time roles in different companies, including RDT, GALP, and as an Auditor Junior at Vítor Campos Lda. These roles involved tasks such as data collection, pre-washing cars, auditing newspapers and magazines, and working as a night cashier.

Sérgio Soares has a strong educational background in the field of business management. Sérgio attended the Instituto Politécnico de Viseu, where they pursued their education from 2000 to 2007. During this time, they completed a bachelor's degree in Business Management, which they obtained in 2006. Sérgio then continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Licentiate degree in Business Management in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Sérgio Soares has also pursued further certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge in business analysis. Sérgio obtained the certifications of "Business Analysis Foundations" and "Business Analysis Foundations: Business Process Modeling" from LinkedIn in July 2023. Prior to that, in December 2021, they completed the "Business Analysis Fundamentals" certification from Udemy. Additionally, they obtained the certification of "Business Analysis & Process Management" from Coursera in October 2021.
