Vasco Gomes

Vasco Gomes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Vasco is currently working as a DevSecOps Engineer at IntellectEU, where they design, implements, and maintains security solutions for Amazon AWS environments. Prior to this, Vasco worked at ReefCentral, where they held multiple roles including Android Developer, Browser Extensions Developer, and DevOps Engineer. Vasco developed Android apps with a large user base, created browser extensions with millions of active users, and built a device to monitor reef aquariums. Vasco also worked as a Software & DevOps Systems Engineer at Universidade de Coimbra, supporting remote teaching and integrating new features into the university's platforms. At Noesis, Vasco was a Software Developer and worked on projects for InFlight and Vodafone Portugal. Vasco also worked at Instituto Pedro Nunes developing an app that was recognized by the European Space Agency. Additionally, Vasco worked as a DevOps Engineer at Wizdee, improving and maintaining development environments and automation processes. Vasco began their career at HIS - Health Innovation Systems, where they worked in software production, maintenance, and remote management of health facilities.

Vasco Gomes began their education at the Universidade de Coimbra in 2004, where they pursued a Licentiate Degree in Informatics Engineering. Vasco successfully completed this program in 2008. Following this, Vasco continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Information Systems and Software Engineering, which they completed in 2010.
