Raymond Boyd has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Raymond began their career in 1984 as the Vice President of North American Sales at PDA Engineering, where they secured the lucrative Defense market and established critical partnerships. Raymond then moved on to Macneal-Schwendler Corporation, where they served as the Director of Strategic Sales before being retained during the company's acquisition.
Raymond then joined LMS International as the Vice President of North American Sales, where they managed all channels, expenses, negotiations, and staffing. Following this, they worked at Motiva Software as the Vice President of North American Sales, delivering over $3M in revenue and transitioning to direct sales. Raymond later became the Regional Vice President of North American Sales at ANSYS, where they converted the sales channel from indirect to direct-based to improve profits.
In 2010, Raymond worked as a Financial Services Professional at New York Life Insurance Company before assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer and Consultant at the Travis Manion Foundation in 2013. There, they collaborated with the President and Board to assess the organization and implemented a three-year growth strategy.
Raymond then served as the Stewardship Coordinator at the Orthodox Church in America, where they were responsible for outreach and communication with over 650 parishes regarding mutual stewardship responsibilities.
Before their current role, Raymond was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Athena Energy Corporation, a US-based company that develops power electronics measurement solutions.
Currently, Raymond Boyd holds the position of VP of Sales & Marketing at Intelligent Light, an engineering analysis software provider. In their role, they manage the America Sales department and oversees post-processing visualization tools for Computational Fluid Dynamics solvers and data analysis tools for general purposes within and around engineering analysis departments.
Raymond Boyd completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Management at the United States Naval Academy from 1969 to 1973. Raymond later pursued a Master of Science degree in Systems Management at the University of Southern California from 1975 to 1978.
