Ryan Gainey

Ryan Gainey is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles related to cyber threat emulation and information assurance. Currently serving as a Red Team Operator and Cyber Threat Emulation Technical Lead at Intelligent Waves since August 2019, Gainey has previously held positions as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant and Cyber Threat Emulation Engineer at CENTERPOINT INC., among others. Gainey’s career spans over a decade within the US Navy, where roles ranged from System Administrator to Network Manager. Gainey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from American Military University, completed in 2020, and also attended the University of South Florida from 1999 to 2003.
