Gregory Neely

Quality Engineer at IntelliGuard®

Gregory Neely has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Gregory began their career in 1979 as a Design Engineer at MDB Systems Inc./Lockheed Mountain Gate, eventually becoming the Manager of Engineering in the New Products Division. During this time, they oversaw a team of engineers and provided technical assistance to ensure projects were completed on time and within budget.

In 1994, Neely transitioned to working as a Consultant, where they took on roles as both a Design Engineer and Project Manager. Gregory collaborated with various companies and clients, assisting them in meeting their immediate needs and determining future requirements. This involved generating product specifications, schedules, budgets, and hardware designs.

In 1998, Neely joined Xyratex/nStore Technologies/Andataco as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Gregory successfully built a local engineering group, supported legacy products, and developed new generation products. Neely worked closely with mechanical engineering, firmware and software engineering teams, and managed the DVT and agency approval processes.

From 2006 to 2016, Neely served as a Sr. Quality/Manufacturing Engineer at Overland Storage. Gregory served as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments, defining and implementing test and manufacturing criteria for new products. Neely's accomplishments included creating test scripts to automate processes, setting up lean manufacturing/test/production lines, and improving test coverage, yield, and failure isolation.

Most recently, Neely joined IntelliGuard® Intelligent Inventory Solutions in 2018 as a Quality Engineer.
